Chamberlaine Crawlers raise £6,000 for Great Ormond Street Hospital
Chamberlaine Crawlers are at it again!
In 2012, the Chamberlaine Crawlers (including the Managing Director, General Manager and Service Delivery Manager) took on and completed the 100km walk from London to Brighton and raised £10,000 for the Alzheimer’s Society.
In 2013 the same team took on the 50km Thames Path walk to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital. Despite it being half the distance of the previous year, it didn’t seem half as easy during the challenge. Completed in 12 hours and with the team still suffering blisters and aching bones they fought through the pain barrier and were very proud of their achievement.
General Manager, Louis Beaumont said, "Having completed the 100km last year and the 50km this year, the whole team and company are delighted with our achievement and to have raised money for two great charities. Thank you to everyone that has donated to us. We will have a well-earned rest now and start planning what we can do for next year".
